It is easily soluble in water and slightly soluble in ethanol. Heating to above 300 ℃ under normal pressure can easily decompose and release oxygen. In neutral or weakly alkaline solutions, the oxidizing power is very low, but in acidic solutions or in the presence of inducers and catalysts (such as copper sulfate), it is a strong oxidizing agent. Reacting with acids (such as sulfuric acid) to release chlorine dioxide, it has strong oxidizing properties. Mixing with sulfur, phosphorus, and organic matter or being impacted can easily cause combustion and explosion. Easy to dissolve due to moisture.
